Obituaries

I was saddened to hear of Lila's passing. She was in my Bible classes that I took at South Lyon UMC when we first moved to South Lyon almost 9 years ago. We then met again at St. Matthew's UMC where she began to attend. If I remember right she helped us out in the nursery and went to Sunday School class with my mother-in-law. I do remember her sweet personality and was one of those special persons who made me smile and feel comfortable. My condolences to her family. Anne Fairchild & Family

Aunt Lila is deeply missed. I have so many happy memories of time spent with her. She was a wonderful Aunt, a good and loving woman, and a fun person to spend time with.

She was a dear person. Very special person. She will always be remembered

So sorry for your loss. We, too, miss Lila and are so glad we got to see her twice last year. What a gift to us to have her and Bob make the trip for Ray's memorial in Dec. She was our dear sister-in-law for 60 plus years and our lives were enriched. Dan and Kathryn and I have so many fond memories of family gatherings which will be cherished for years to come. May God give comfort to all who have been touched by her generous and faith-filled life Her leaving this earth has left a hole in our hearts until we are reunited with her again in heaven.
